Massage Guns
TimTam PowerMassager™ Pro
ALRIGHT, first off is the TimTam PowerMassager PRO, now this bad boy is supposed to be the strongest, of the bunch it has pretty decent battery life, and good strength it clocks in at 25 decibels, which is honestly about average. Now I will say right off the bat, this massage gun is much stronger than the HyperIce (reviewed below).

the highest priced one on the list, it’s around 499$
A bit hard on the wrist to hold for long periods of time.
Sturdy but still plastic, but the massager’s head feels solid compared to the others
Pretty standard accessories, but the massager heads much more solid and it has targeted heat which if you like heat it’s nice.
The noise is fine.
Hyperice Hypervolt Plus
Ok now this one is coming in at around $399 and I’ll be HONEST it’s not BAD… BUT here’s the thing this is a Chinese knock off, you can easily google “massage gun” in eBay and get one that’s not quite as strong but will be 70% cheaper, I got one for 50$
BUT this is one of the ones I uses in my office just because it’s easy to get and gets the job done, the pros are the price, and the nice ergonomics of the way you hold it, it’s easy to use on yourself, and it’s easy to get into the back the traps and the area between the shoulder blades.

This is way too high with other options out there
Nice “T” shape for the traps
Not quite as durable as you would expect for $300+
Pretty standard accessories.

Handmade One
Now this boot-leg looking one, i made myself as a control and to show what you can do for around 50$ with a replacement head i ordered on ebay and a hand held saw.
This is one is by far the most powerful but its not NEARLY AS quite, but i like the attachments, i just sorta added this one in to show you that you could make one cheap, strong and loud ( kinda like my ex) but it would wake the neighbors up a bit, but if you didnt care and if price was the biggest factor for you would have an option.

Affordability 5 /5 the cheapest option out there but you got to make it yourself
Ease of use 4/5 its smaller and a bit more tiring on the wrist compared to other models because of the weight
Quality of materials 4/5 very sturdy I have one I use in my office for years and it has held up with repeated use, but the tip does wear down and the long head on it will bend a bit after a few years.
Accessories 1/5 only one head and, each additional head would have to be found on eBay or made.
Noise .05 /5 very loud, kind hurts your ears if you are doing it for more than 5 min on the traps.
Shogun Sports Massage Ninja PRO
Ok now let’s get into some moderately priced models, Ninja Massager pro has a few high points and some negative, I like the sleek style, it has good weight to it compared to the others, it feels sturdy, and it’s strong but not quite as loud, this one might be the goldilocks not too hot not too cold of massagers, now it’s not as strong as the handheld one, and not as cheap as buying one on eBay.
The thing that set this apart for me was the accessories had smooth metal tips on them so it was a better “harder” feel to the massage. It was also VERY quiet, but since now most models are quiet, I think what set it apart was how quiet it was while also being very strong.

Final Verdict
The short and sweet version of all of this is basically, going to come down to a bit of personal taste, I would say if you feel like a builder and PRICE is the biggest concern just do it yourself. Get the jigsaw and make it. If you want the best so you can flex on your friends at the gym then get the Timtam. If you want something with a bit better handle for solo use get the hyper volt.
